There was a fire
outbreak at Great Nigeria
Insurance House at Balogun Market in Lagos this morning. Eye witnesses said the fire started around 5am from one of the top floors. The cause of the fire outbreak is unknown but people suspect that it may be as a result of electrical fault. The building accommodates various businesses, including banks.
On the ground were
National Commission for Migrants and
Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), National
Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), LASEMA, and the Lagos State Fire Service as well as Federal Fire Service to quench the fire, and evacuate affected persons. More pics after the cut
