The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO Post-UTME 2015/2016 Screening Date, Cut-off Mark, Eligibility And Registration Details Has Been Announced – See How to Register Below;
This is to inform the members of the general public and most especially all the applicants who applied for admission into The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, (Futo) in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), are hereby invited to a Screening Exercise, provided the names of such candidates are on the list submitted to the university by JAMB.
What this entails is that some candidates, who chose Federal University of Technology, Owerri, as their choice Institution, MIGHT NOT be eligible to participate in the 2015 Post UTME screening exercise. See the New Jamb Admission Policy.
The main reason is because JAMB has not shortlisted such candidates in the list sent to FUTO.

Method of Application
Those who are eligible for the screening test can apply by following the steps provided below;[Step 1] Sign-up
→ Log on to FUTO Post UTME Application Portal at: apply.futo.edu.ng→ When the page loads up, click on the Sign-up from the login section
→ Fill Sign-up form
→ Log into your email address to activate your account. (For those who don’t have an email address already, you can create one at Yahoo! for Free. Just follow the steps and within 10 minutes you will have an email address. Please save your password!)
[Step 2] Applications
If you have finish step 1 above, then continue…→ Enter your login details to access the portal
→ Click on Apply link on the Application Form
→ Validate Registration Number by entering your UTME Reg. No in the text box
→ Click “Show Result” tab
→ Click “Continue”
→ Click on “Print Invoice”
→ Proceed to the Bank to make payment
Note: Eligible candidates should pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, excluding switch fee at any branch of any of the following banks in the country:
- FUTO Microfinance Bank
- First Bank Nigeria
- Diamond Bank
- UBA
- FCMB
→ Login with your account details
→ Click Resume button on “My Saved Applications”
→ Fill the Biodata Form
→ Upload your passport photograph (photo size should not be more than 64kb in jpeg or gif format). Ensure you upload your true and recent photograph, since the university would make subsequent use of the photograph for successful candidates without the opportunity of changing it until after matriculation.
→ Supply your O’Level result details
→ Submit and Print Application Form

→ Enter your login details to access the portal apply.futo.edu.ng→ Click on “Resume” under “My Saved Applications” to edit
[Step 4] Edit Application (Submitted Application Form)
→ Enter your login details to access the portal apply.futo.edu.ng→ Click on “Preview” under “My Saved Applications” to edit
The Screening Exercise
The 2015/2016 FUTO POST-UTME Screening Exercise shall be conducted using Computer Based Testing (CBT)- The venue for the exercise is ICT Centre, FUTO, Owerri
- Specific date and time for screening are as specified on candidate’s PUTME Online Slip
- Any candidate who is one (1) hour late would not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise.
- GSM phones, Calculators and other electronic devices are not allowed into the venue.
Candidates are expected to come with the following
→ UTME Original Result Slip with your passport photograph on it.→ PUTME Online Slip
→ E-Tranzact or evidence of Payment Slip used for online application
