Looks are not everything, but your looks are very important. You will never be able to meet, speak to or interact with everyone personally. Therefore, most people will get their first impression of you from your looks. Since you may never get a second chance to make a first impression, how you look should be your top priority.

The fact is, we all want to look good. The good news is, most of us can look better. Here are 10 simple tips on how to look good everyday.

1. Take at least a glass of water to flush your system upon waking up every morning.

2. Do some exercises. You might want to dance, sit-up, jug or push-up. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. One hour is better. It is not a must to visit a gym to exercise.

4. Before taking your shower, apply some scrubs on your face. Apply it in a random motion in order for it to penetrate into your skin and also for the opening of the pores. Leave for about 10 minutes, and then wash with a Facial Wash. It is advisable to use warm water. Also note that when cleaning the face after bath, it is important to use a separate towel to clean your face because of the dirt your normal body towel might have been exposed to.

5. Apply a facial cream (not your normal body cream) in order to prevent pimples, especially if you have an oily face. It is advisable to insist on an oil-free facial cream. An example is Mary Kay oil-free facial cream.

6. Sparingly apply a translucent powder (loose powder) on your face because of sweat and dirt. Your handbag is incomplete without a blotting paper to extract facial oils when your face becomes oily. Apply your powder mildly to suit you.

7. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. Shoot for 9-10. When you’re watching shows where the pretty lady goes “Shut up! I’m trying to get my beauty sleep!”, she’s not kidding.

8. Apply a black pencil on your water line underneath your eye (where tear falls when you cry). It should be a black roll-up pencil or a kajal.

9. Line your lips with a light brown pencil or any that suit you with a mild lip stick or a lip gloss preferably.

10. Wear a good smile everyday
